In this three day workshop, musician and composer Jason Mullinax will teach students the basics of electronic music production. Using a free online music studio called Sumotunes, students will learn how to construct drum rhythms, bass lines, and melodies and then combine them into their very own songs. It’s a fun and easy introduction to the fundamentals of music composition as well as concepts like tempo and dynamics. No previous musical experience necessary and all skill levels are welcome.
