I can’t think of a better way to spend summer than with great kids making music and gadgets. This is why I’m thrilled to add Jason Mullinax of Music Discovery Lab to our roster of talented instructors. Jason will offer a fantastic summer workshop where kids explore sound and make cool electronic instruments including an “Atari Punk Synthesizer”. We’ll also make electric Cigar Box ukuleles and amplifiers in addition to coding, hands-on circuit building, and funky home made robots.
We’ll take our traditional popcorn and ice pop breaks outside and I’ll be thrilled to see how much my regular campers have grown. Some campers will be back for their fifth camp and some will return as teaching assistants. It’s been my greatest reward to be a part of their lives and to witness how each camp becomes a small community.
