Adult Workshop/Fundraisers

Do you know why a motor spins?  Or how a LED and a solar panel are the same thing backwards?  Come learn the answers to these ponderous questions while sipping wine and wearing stylish safety goggles.  On two Friday nights in May, Gadget Lab will host two Bread and Circuits fundraisers.  These workshops are fun, social events that cover a topic from the Gadget Lab curriculum but with wine and food.

If you’re feeling more ambitious you can come on two Saturday mornings make a real ukulele from a cigar box while you learn about intonation and other important concepts that govern stringed instruments.

All proceeds from adult workshops go to the Gadget Lab camp scholarship fund. Last year we raised enough funds for six scholarships.  The kids and their parents were deeply appreciative and so am I.

These workshops tend to sell out quickly. If you’d like to attend one and find it full, please contact me at Karen@GadgetLab.org.  I’ll gladly add another session if there’s enough interest.
